Dr. Jae Choi
BOARD CERTIFIED ORTHODONTIST IN Tempe, AZ
Dr. Hojae Choi is an esteemed American Board Certified Orthodontist, specializing in creating stunning smiles. Inspired by her orthodontist father in Seoul, Korea, she pursued a rigorous seven-year accelerated program at NYU College of Dentistry, earning both her bachelor’s and dental degrees. She furthered her education with a master’s in oral histology and cell biology from Seoul National University and later trained in orthodontics at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health.
Dr. Choi is dedicated to personalized orthodontic care, connecting deeply with her patients. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two kittens, traveling, baking delicious desserts, and making music.
Her compassionate approach and extensive expertise make her a valuable member of the IGO team.

Dr. Han Choi, affectionately known as Dr. Han, is an exceptional dentist whose journey in dental medicine began with a degree in Biology from Baylor University
& advanced with a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the renowned NYU School of Dentistry. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, Dr. Han is adept in various dental procedures, including intricate implant surgeries, precise root canal therapies, and complex wisdom teeth extractions. His expertise and gentle approach have transformed countless smiles & improved patients’ lives.
Previously, Dr. Han managed 10 dental clinics in Texas and New Mexico, training over 30 dentists. Seeking direct patient care, he moved to Arizona, focusing on personalized, patient-centered treatment. Outside the clinic, he enjoys exploring diverse cuisines, spending time with his wife, and staying fit with home workouts.

I’m a dedicated dental hygienist with a unique and diverse background. I attended Carrington College, where I received my formal training in dental hygiene. Before
transitioning into the dental field, I spent 20 years in the corporate world, gaining valuable experience in communication, problem-solving, and leadership. Additionally, I worked for 10 years in the airline industry, balancing two jobs for a decade—this experience taught me the importance of time management, multitasking, and customer service.
I’ve always had a passion for helping people, and my journey has been driven by the desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Whether at Costco or in the dental office, I’ve always focused on making positive impacts, and now, as a dental hygienist, I’m able to do so directly by improving patients’ oral health and overall well-being.
In addition to my work in dental hygiene, I’m in the process of starting a charity called Eleni’s Promise focused on assisting individuals with dental expenses as well as improving connection with other humans. It’s important to me to make dental care accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation, and I’m excited about the change this initiative can bring to our community. Every day, I’m inspired to change the world one smile at a time, and I’m committed to continuing my mission of service and care.
